Your oil gauge, one last time

Four reasons to leave oil behind

Oil heating ties you to a cycle of ordering, waiting and paying whatever the market decides. A heat pump quietly removes every part of it.

Deliveries

The guage-watching stops

No more ordering, no minimum drops, no hoping the tanker arrives before you run dry in a January cold snap.

Heat comes from the air. You never order fuel again

Price shocks

Bills stop being a gamble

Heating oil swings with global markets, and delivery day can sting. Your warmth shouldn't depend on a commodity price.

Predictable running costs, spread across the year

The tank

Your garden comes back

A bulky tank in the garden brings a leak risk, ground contamination liability and an insurance headache with it.

We help organise its removal and responsibe disposal

Upkeep

Less to maintain

Annual servicing, sooty boilers and ageing parts are part of life with an oil system.

A low-maintenance system with a 7-year warranty

See what you could save, on your actual oil spend

Tell us roughly what you spend on oil a year. We'll estimate your running costs on a heat pump using electricity. If you've got solar or a battery we'll factor those in too.

That's a ballpark from your oil spend. For an exact figure for your home, with the grant already taken off, get your estimate. If you like the look of it book some time to talk to one of our renewables experts and we can arrange to complete a full heat loss survey and design for your home.

£9,000
For homes on oil or LPG
The Grant

Oil's grant is the biggest one going

From 21 July 2026, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £9,000 towards a heat pump for off-gas-grid homes on oil or LPG. The highest level support available anywhere in England and Wales. It's the top rate, and it's yours to claim.

Applied upfront. Deducted straight from your quote. No waiting, no claiming back.

We handle the paperwork. The full application is done for you.

Available until 31 March 2027. The £9,000 rate is a time-limited uplift.

Whilst there are eligibility criteria to access the £7,500 of grants available in England, Wales (and temporarily increased to £9,000 for homes using Oil or LPG) and Scotland most homeowners are likely to be able to obtain the funding. To check specific eligibility criteria we have put together this eligibility checker tool, which we will also use as part of your free home assessment. Further information on the Boiler Upgrade Scheme in England and Wales can be found here, and it's equivalent in Scotland can be found here.

"The guys who came to do the installation, very nice, friendly people, very helpful, always willing to help talk through some of my questions. So the installation went smoothly. It's all been tidied up nicely upon the completion of the installation. So really, I couldn't complain  about the installation at all. Very smooth. Better than I expected. So, I'm very happy with that."

Common questions

My home's old and rural, will it actually stay warm?

Off-gas-grid and period homes are exactly what we design for. We size the system to your home's measured heat loss and design for low-temperature flow, so it's warm through the depths of winter. Heat pumps run all year in countries far colder than ours, the difference is a system designed properly for your home.

Do I need to replace all my radiators?

Sometimes a few, sometimes none. Our survey checks every room against its heat demand. Where a radiator needs upsizing we tell you upfront and include it in the fixed price. You won't get a surprise on install day.

What happens on really cold days?

Modern air source heat pumps work well below freezing. We design to your local design temperature, the coldest it realistically gets where you are, so the system performs when you need it most, not just on mild days.

How disruptive is the installation?

Most installs take around 4 days. We plan the work around you, keep the heating on as long as possible during the swap, and leave the site clean, including helping arrange for the old tank to be removed and disposed of responsibly.

Is the grant paperwork a hassle?

No, we handle the entire Boiler Upgrade Scheme application for you. And the old rule where an insulation note on your EPC could block the grant has been removed, so it's simpler than it used to be.
